What makes you special and unique?
I am the smallest of all of my friends, but I have a big personality. My friends all call me "tater tot" or anything else they can think of meaning "short."

Name one thing you cannot live without.
Like most teenagers, I cannot live without my phone. I also cannot live without my friends, and of course, chocolate!

What's the most valuable lesson you've ever learned?
The Golden Rule is to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Always treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.

Who is your most valued role model and why?
My friend, Joy, is amazing. She's graduating early and is in the top of her class. She is an awesome person and is very talented. She knows exactly what she wants to do with her life and what she has to do to achieve her goals. I really admire her for being a strong, goal-oriented woman.

When I was 9 years old, I competed in a talent competition. I won the Grand Overall award with the highest score possible out of lots of kids of all ages. That was quite an unexpected and happy moment.

One time during a hip-hop dance with a show choir, my pants fell down around my ankles. Luckily my shirt was long so not many people in the audience noticed. Still, I was so embarrassed.

Who am I?
I like my school because there are so many people in it. Everyone has an opportunity to make friends with people that are just like them and people who are completely different. I like being in a big crowd, and I like meeting new people. I like any reason that gives me a reason to get all dressed up and go hang out with friends or meet new people.

I love to eat. I really like mexican food. Empanadas are my favorite, but the only restaurant that sells them is On the Border. I like anything with cheese or chocolate, but I don't like any kind of nuts. I think they ruin chocolate!

I really love to sing! One day I want to be on American Idol. It is my goal to be in the top 12 and perhaps even win. If that doesn't work out for me, I want to do something in the medical field. I'm always getting different ideas for a career, but I think that what I really want to be is a dentist.

Tell us about your platform.
My platform is Raising Awareness Against Bullying Girls. It is my goal to raise awareness to not only the teens, but parents too. Sometimes parents do not realize what a serious matter this can be. They sometimes think that it's not a very big deal, and we would wait until we get into the "real world", and then we will have "real" problems. I don't think they realize how harmful just simple words can be. I'm sure everyone has heard the phrase "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." I disagree with this statement completely. Simple words that girls say to other girls to their faces or behind their backs calling them fat or ugly, can really hurt them and bring down their self-esteem a lot.

I love my school because there are so many people and opportunities, but there are downsides to having so many people. They form "cliques", groups of people that hang out with each other and nobody else. This causes a lot of unecessary girls drama and fights. There are some girls that just talk about everyone. They make jun of girls they don't like, call them names, boss them around, give them nasty looks, and make them feel less than they really are. Sometimes things even lead to physical fights, and girls actually beating up other girls. I recently saw on the news where girls were getting in groups and ganging up on a single girl and beating the girl up. This is a major issue that I feel needs to be addressed to the public more.
