My hobbies are tumbling and listening to music. Back to Top What makes you special and unique? What makes me special and unique is my tumbling ability. I hadn't really given it much thought it was just something I could do, but when the kids at school would ask me to tumble, I realized, hey everybody can't do this. Back to Top What is the best advice you have ever received? The best advice I've ever received is not to focus on what others may think but just be yourself no matter what. If you're able to be happy with yourself the others will follow. Back to Top Name one thing you cannot live without. The one thing I can't live without is my MP3 player! I've got all my favorite songs downloaded and can listen to them any place anytime. Back to Top What's the most valuable lesson you've ever learned? The most valuable lesson I've learned is not to believe everything you hear. People may tell you one thing and do something totally different, or tell you something that's totally not the truth. Back to Top Who is your most valued role model and why? My most valued role model is my mother because she's here everyday showing me how to become a strong, independent woman. Back to Top What was your most unexpected moment? My most unexpected moment was when trying out for cheerleader this year I had to give my competition a pep talk before she tried out. She got so nervous that I had to convince her that she could do it! Back to Top What is your workout routine? I don't have a set workout routine but every week I have regular tumbling classes, regular cheerleading practice, and track practice. I’m in a gym four days every week. Back to Top What has been your biggest accomplishment to date? My biggest accomplishment to date has been making the high school varsity track team as an 8th grader and my relay team advancing to semi-finals of the south state 4A division. Back to Top What is the best compliment you have ever received? The best compliment I have received was being told by one of my teacher that I was the most respectful student she teaches. Back to Top What is your secret wish? My secret wish is to be captain of the cheer squad but don't tell anyone... it's a secret. Back to Top What was your most embarrassing moment? My most embarrassing moment happened at a college football game with my family and one of my dad's friends. This guy from my church (who may like me) kept passing by. After his third time and my dad's friend called him up to our seats and started asking him if he knew me, what did he think about me, if he thought I was cute - all that kind of stuff! I thought I would die! Back to Top What is your biggest guilty pleasure? I'm only thirteen I don't get to have many pleasures but I guess eating chocolate and drinking sodas. Back to Top What is your favorite movie and why? My favorite move is A Cinderella Story because it has a fair tale ending and I love fairy tales. I love it when everyone lives happily ever after. Back to Top What do you like to do for fun... relaxation... recreation? For relaxation I like talking on the phone and listening to music. Back to Top What would be your dream vacation or destination? My dream vacation is a week in Hawaii! Hopefully for all my hard work after high school I can get it! Back to Top What do you like best about the state of Mississippi? What I like most about Mississippi are it's people. We have such a diverse culture and you can't help but to love it. Back to Top Where do you see yourself in ten years? In ten years I see my self just finishing school and beginning a successful dental practice. Back to Top What extracurricular activities do you participate in? My extracurricular activities are cheerleading (competitive and non-competitive), basketball, and track. Back to Top Who am I? I am very happy well rounded teen-ager; I enjoy doing all the things a typical teen-ager does. I like being with my friends, shopping, listening to music, and talking on the phone. I'm kind of quiet, but I enjoy having a good time. My mother says I should have been a teenager in the 60's because I have beads hanging in my room, I love daisies, and my dream car is a pink convertible VW Beetle with purple daisies on the hood and trunk. My favorite food is homemade mac and cheese. My favorite soda is Dr. Pepper. My favorite music is hip-hop and R&B. My favorite artist is Beyonce.
My passion is competitive cheerleading and I am one of those people that gets angry when you say that it's not a sport. I love the dancing, the tumbling and the stunting. The idea of being lifted into the air and dropping down for someone to catch me is totally awesome!

My goal is to get the word out about healthy eating and staying active. If kids would participate in one sports activity, set a goal of drinking six-eight glasses of water a day, and to eat at least one green vegetable a day the number of Type 2 diabetes cases would come down tremendously and possibly be wiped out. If we start these habits as children they will carry on into adulthood and in turn lower the number of adult diabetes, hypertension and heart disease cases because Proverb 22:6 says: Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
