What makes you special and unique?
Being a miracle child is what makes me special and unique. My parents were married right out of high school; however, despite their efforts, were unable to have a child. Fortunately, a very exciting day came fourteen years later. My mother went her doctor and found out that she was going to have a baby.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
The best advice I have ever received is to always do my personal best. Success is not measured against that of other people, but by the mere progress made in one's own personal life.

Name one thing you cannot live without.
The one thing that I absolutely cannot live without is laughter. A good dose of laughter has been known to lower blood pressure, increase the heart rate, produces endorphins, boost the immune system, and lengthen the life span. This exercise is also much more fun than the treadmill!

What's the most valuable lesson you've ever learned?
You can't win today's ballgame with yesterday's hits. You have to continuously challenge yourself to move outside your comfort zone to achieve your maximum potential.

Who is your most valued role model and why?
My most valued role model has to be Patch Adams; a tireless advocate for the practice of treating the patient instead of the disease.
